| A “Gunslinger” is any appraiser or appraisal firm that routinely “low-balls” valuations for the benefit of insurers. Their valuations are “custom”, done by hand, not computerized like ADP or CCC. They are most often used by some insurers who believe that most arson and “non-recovered” theft vehicle claims are due to fraud by the policy holder, and therefore all such claims should be greatly underpaid. They can also be called in to back up the insurer when a policy holder refuses to accept the initial valuation. Gunslinger appraisals are 99% worthless show and 1% low-ball substance.
Ron’s “Gunslinger Dissected” guide teaches you how to discredit their appraisals. It also shows you how Ron dissected two “Gunslinger” appraisals in Northern and Southern California. The Gunslinger in Southern California, Appraisal Express of Manhatten Beach, was used by Allstate for all non recovered vehicle theft claims in Fresno, California at the time of this writing. Ron also shows how he was able to even obtain and use a CCC valuation to discredit a Gunslinger appraisal (CCC is normally a tool for insurers, not policy holders).
